Every year, the Pittsburgh Pirates give away a calendar to fans at both PiratesFest and the home opener.

Photography

For this design project, I merged hand-drawn typography with an experimental, tactile process to create a unique visual design. I hand-crafted the typography using baseball dirt to give the appearance of being part of the infield. I carefully poured the dirt onto a sheet of paper, gradually shifting it to reveal the hand-drawn letters beneath. Afterward, I captured the typography layout through photography and enhanced the images digitally in Photoshop, refining the final composition.
