Pittsburgh Pirates Social Media Campaign
Art Direction and Design: Kaitlin Lusty

Project Objective
Each year, the Pittsburgh Pirates release a promotional calendar, knowing that fans are more likely to attend a game when there’s a promotion they’re excited about. This is key to driving engagement and meeting marketing goals. To help showcase these promotions, we created a fun stop-motion campaign that brings them to life and captures the attention of fans.
Photography
Stop-motion animations are created by capturing still images of the scene or object, frame by frame, then playing them in sequence to create the illusion of movement. Below is an example of how we photographed one of the animations. I directed the photographer and player on how to achieve this illusion.
